Veddha Village Camp Experience with a scenic trekking trail - 2 Nights explore Veddha's way of life, Sri Lanka's aboriginals. This is a one-night and two day Veddha village camping experience which enables you to interact with them, dance with them, and take a nature trail in the jungle with Veddha's to study how they hunt for food and learn their way of life. This trip also enables you to experience a scenic nature trail in Pitawala Pathana Plains and the beautiful Riverstone area in Matale.
Day 01
- Pick up from Kandy and drive to Vedda Village
- Lunch at Vedda Village Camp
- Take a bush walk in the jungle with Veddhas. Vedda will demonstrate their hunting methods
- Dinner at the camp
- Overnight stay at the camp
Day 02
- Breakfast at the camp
- Morning walk in the mountains to see caves with Veddas
- Back to Vedda Village camp to freshen up
- Visit a Vedda dwelling
- Lunch at the camp
- Take another jungle/village walk in the afternoon
- BBQ dinner amidst roaring campfire and Vedda dances
- Overnight stay at the camp
Day 03
- Breakfast at the camp
- Drive to Kandy via Riverstone and Mini World's End. Have a trek in Pitawala Pathana Plains with a picnic lunch
- The trip ends in Kandy at about 5 PM approximately
- Local transfers from Kandy to Kandy
- All meals from day one lunch to day three lunch and refreshments
- Tented accommodation in Veddha Village
- Professional trekker and guiding fees
