This is five nights and six days trip takes you through the most visited attractions of Sri Lanka.
Day 1
- You will be received by our chauffeur in Colombo
- Transfer to Wilpattu National Park - 3 to 4 hours drive approximately
- Afternoon safari in Wilpattu National Park at 2 PM which is home to Leopards, Bears, Spotted Deer, Crocodiles and many varieties of birds
- Dinner and overnight stay in Wilpattu Tree House Lodge
Day 2
- Morning safari in Wilpattu National Park at 6 AM which is home to Leopards, Bears, Spotted Deer, Crocodiles and many varieties of birds with a picnic breakfast
- Back to the lodge, freshen up and transfer to Anuradhapura - 1 hour driver approximately
- Explore historical city of Anuradhapura
- Transfer to Habarana - 1 ½ hours drive approximately
- Dinner and overnight stay at Kamatha Eco Lodge
Day 3
- Breakfast at Kamatha Eco Lodge
- Explore a typical Sri Lankan village by foot or cycles witnessing vegetables fields, interacting with village vendors, rice fields, lakes and village folks
- Visit ancient Pidurangala Rock Monastery
- Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress s a UNESCO World Heritage site
- Afternoon Safari in Minneriya National Park at 3 PM to see Elephants in close quarters. During the months of July and August one can see large herds of Elephants of 200 to 300 Elephants
- Dinner and overnight stay at Kamatha Eco Lodge
Day 4
- Breakfast at Kamatha Eco Lodge
- Visit Dambulla Cave Temple s a UNESCO World Heritage site
- Transfer to Kandy - 2 hours drive approximately
- Take part in Kandy city tour which consists of Kandy Temple of Tooth Relic, Visit to bustling Kandy market to see street vendors and Kandy city view point
- Dinner and overnight stay at Polwaththa Eco Lodge in Kandy
Day 5
- Breakfast at the Lodge
- Trek in the village with one of the trained Village Guides through quaint villages, show you the traditional village lifestyle and how they attend to their household chores. The walk also includes a look at the different vegetables, fruits and spices that are locally grown such as Cocoa, Pepper, Cloves, Nutmeg, Vanilla... and how jaggery (local sugar) is made from the flower of the Kithul tree. The village walks ends with a river swim where you can mingle with locals washing their clothes and dipping their heads in the water or chose to swim in what some may call your private natural swimming pool. A new addition is a newly found waterfall which includes a 1km walk through a jungle
- Lunch at the lodge or picnic lunch during the walk
- Dinner and overnight stay at Polwaththa Eco Lodge in Kandy
Day 6
- Breakfast at the Lodge
- Transfer to Kitulgala - 3 hours drive approximately
- Take part in adrenaline rushed White Water Rafting in Kitulgala
- Enjoy a complimentary rice and curry lunch with an ice cold Beer
- Transfer to Colombo - 2 ½ hours drive approximately
- Accommodation in mentioned hotels
- Meals as per mentioned meal plans
- Air conditioned transfers with an English speaking chauffer guide
- All mentioned activities and park entrance fees
